UniCote is pre-painted steel made with a hot-dipped aluminium/zinc alloy-coated steel substrate for corrosion resistance. The outer layer is a polyester top coat, using the latest infrared reflective pigments, baked on to a polyester primer. The result is an extremely durable paint system built to resist UV damage from Australia’s harsh sun, providing excellent colour retention and gloss retention.
Standing up to the harsh Australian environment is no easy task, so we make sure that UniCote is tested to the rigorous Australian Standard AS/NZ 2728 to ensure that your roof will last for years to come.

All pre-painted metal roofing and cladding products are exposed to the harsh effects of the environment, such as weather, airborne pollutants and salt spray. Regular maintenance of UniCote® pre-painted products will increase durability and is a requirement of your warranty. See our Minimum maintenance schedule for more details.
UniCote® is a baked on paint system which has different weathering characteristics to standard air drying paints. Do not use touch-up on UniCote® products. Any minor scratches should be left alone as they will generally not affect the performance of the steel.
