Extreme or Coastal?
UniCote® Coastal and UniCote® Extreme are both designed for more demanding environments, but they are different material pathways.
UniCote® Coastal is a pre-painted steel solution designed for coastal and more corrosive environments, suitable from 0–400m+ from marine influence and ISO 9223:2012 Category 1–4.
UniCote® Extreme is a pre-painted aluminium solution designed for very severe marine and industrial environments, suitable from 0m+ from marine influence and ISO 9223:2012 Category 1–5.
If the project sits in a highly exposed marine or industrial environment, Extreme may be the more suitable pathway. If the project location or exposure is unclear, start with warranty pre-approval.
Where to use UniCote® Extreme
• 0m+ from marine influence
• ISO 9223:2012 Category 1–5
UniCote® Extreme is designed for roofing and cladding applications in very severe marine and industrial environments.
It is suited to projects exposed to high levels of salt, moisture or industrial pollutants, particularly where a marine-grade aluminium solution is required from 0m+ from marine influence.
Why aluminium?
In very severe marine and industrial environments, material selection is critical.
UniCote® Extreme uses marine-grade aluminium to provide an alternative pathway where pre-painted steel may not be suitable for the level of exposure.
This gives project teams a durable, pre-painted metal option for demanding roofing and cladding applications without compromising the architectural intent of the project.
Warranty up to
50 years
Warranty pre-approval for severe environments
Very severe marine and industrial environments require careful assessment before product selection.
UniCote® Extreme warranties are project-specific and depend on factors such as location, exposure, application and design details.
Submit your project for warranty pre-approval to confirm suitability before supply.
